What If John Candy Had Lived?

John Candy was born in 1950 in Newmarket, Ontario and went to McMaster University in Hamilton.

He first became famous in the 1980s when the Canadian census found him to be the fattest person in the country.

Also, the aptly named Martin Short was discovered as being the shortest person in Canada.

Candy rocketed to fame starring in such movies as, 'Spaceballs,' 'Uncle Buck,' and, 'Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.'

Unfortunately, the fame was cut short: Filming the movie, 'Cool Runnings,' about the Jamaican bobsled team, he was struck by a bobsled and died.
