Everyone Was Looking For, 'Lebensraum'

I submitted a blogpost, 'Ethnic cleansing with a vengeance,' to r/new_right and this was one of the responses:

History in the world island is a long series of genocidal displacements.

"In Africa, the Bantu pushed out of West Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, etc.) into the Congo Basin, killing most of the pygmies and driving the rest to the margins. They didn't stop. In the year 1AD, most of Africa was in the hands of a few hundred thousand Bushmen (San). The Bantu agriculturalists steamrolled these hunter gatherers, so that by the year 500 they only remained in the Kalahari desert, and the relatively undesirable dry veldt of South Africa beyond the Drakensburg mountain range - an area they shared with the Khoi Khoi.

Look up the Xiongnu, Scythians, Gokturks, Huns, Mongols, Goths, Ostrogoths, Alans, and all the other peoples who lived on the Pontic-Caspian Steppe. Each new empire formed there displaced previous peoples. The reason the Vandals, Goths, Gepids, etc invaded Rome is that they were evicted from their part of the steppe, being forced along the Danube to Pannonia (Hungary) or elsewhere. Many of them even wound up in Spain, which seems to have been where all the displaced nations wound up on a temporary basis.

You can also look at more recent history in Europe, yes. Russia, too - Stalin moved various nations around inside his empire.

You can look at the Middle East. The demographics of Israel are one thing, but also look at Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. What has happened to Lebanese Maronite Christians, Yezedis, and other small groups? Ethnic cleansing, and refugees in the West.

I have a sad answer to Rodney Kings question of "Why can't we all just get along?". Each and every tribe seems to be in search of Lebensraum; this world just ain't big enough for you and me both, according to most groups."
